Description:The event covers the processes, components and techniques included in the PRINCE2ฎ Project Management Method. The course prepares delegates for the APM Group Practitioner exam (included in the course).

Delegates must have passed the Foundation Examination or in the case of a Re-registration, have taken the Practitioner exam within the last 3-5 years in order to attend this course.

The 2-day course includes the following:
• Individual and Group exercises
• Sample Exam Papers
• Evening Work

It is essential that delegates allow time for pre-course work (recommended about 6 hours).
AudienceThe event is designed for anyone who has attended the PRINCE2ฎ Foundation event within the last 3-months and now wants to gain the Practitioner’s certificate, or for those that have taken but not passed the Practitioner exam and wish to re-sit it.

Anyone who sat the Practitioner exam prior to October 2000 and would like to convert their qualification to Registered Practitioner status or for those who wish to maintain their Registered Practitioner status.

ObjectivesThe course is designed to:

• Ensure delegates that have recently passed the Foundation Exam (within the last 3 months) are prepared for the Practitioner Exam using practical exercises of sample exam papers

• Provide an overview of the topics covered in the Foundation course, such as Components, Processes and Techniques used in PRINCE2ฎ

• Discuss how PRINCE2ฎ can be applied in practice

• Prepare delegates to take the Practitioner examination or Re-registration exam

Event Content

Day 1 – Exam Preparation
The day provides a top-level overview of the PRINCE2ฎ method as an introduction and provides preparation for the Practitioner Examination by completing sample exam papers that are illustrative of the type of scenarios and questions that may appear in the actual Practitioner paper.

Day 2 – Final Preparation & Examination
On the final day the formal examinations begin at 09:00. Those re-sitting or converting from Foundation to Practitioner will sit a 3 hour multiple choice examination and those re-registering will sit a 1 hour multiple choice exam.
