|  | | |  | | Andy Brophy | Andy Brophy is a Lean & Innovation Improvement Advisor. He has been working in the Lean field for the last twelve years with a diverse range of organisations including manufacturing, services, software development, and hospitals.
Andy holds a 1st Class MSc in Lean Operations from Cardiff University and is Six Sigma Black Belt certified. In May 2010 he published the co-authored book Innovative Lean with John Bicheno of the Lean Enterprise Research Center in the UK. This work is primarily based on the power of harvesting and implementing employee ideas and creating an innovative and empowered workforce.
In 2011 he was selected by Pearson’s the worlds largest book publisher to write The Financial Times Guide to Lean.

|  |  | | Deirdre Murray | Deirdre Murray has worked in a variety of commercial and management roles within the Pharmaceutical industry during the last 27 years.She has held positions in Clinical Research, Training, General Management, Project and Operations Management and has worked in Ireland, the UK and Canada to date.
She holds an MBA from the Smurfit Business School at UCD, and Diplomas in Executive Coaching and Public Relations. She is also a Registered Nurse and Midwife.
Deirdre now works closely with a number of clients in both the commercial and not for profit sectors in training, business development, and process improvement. She has a passion for seeing individuals and organisations prosper and in assisting the effective combining of both the “ hard and soft” skills sets.

His areas of lecturing expertise are in Postgraduate and Executive courses in Operations Management and Project Management; with vast practical experience gained from more than 30 years working in the telecommunications sector, he has extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of operations process design and analysis.
Holding a Master’s Degree from the University of Limerick, a Primary Degree from the Irish Management Institute and in addition to a 6Sigma Green Belt he also holds Project Management Professional accreditation from the Project Management Institute in the U.S.A.

He demonstrates excellent change management, mentoring, data analysis and communication skills. Dave has a wide range of in-depth experience in both manufacturing – electronics, pharma, IT-, and transactional –order management, call centre, financial- environments - across many regions and cultures.
His Master Black Belt activity includes training, mentoring, problem solving and program management at all organization levels -LSS Green Belts, Black Belts, Kaizen facilitators, LSS Mentors, Program Sponsors and Project Managers and he draws on an extensive portfolio of successful project delivery.
