Description:The Emerging Information Security Threats & Solutions Briefing is a half-day presentation designed to give delegates an appreciation of the current and future trends relating to information security. In particular the briefing will cover the latest threats facing today’s organisations and provide methodolgies to reduce those threats. Protecting critical information assets in a world of interconnected technologies challenges current security management practices, tools and methodologies.

New technologies bring with them many new benefits but also many risks. Coupled with the changing shift in tactics amongst the cyber criminal fraternity, those charged with protecting key organisational assets need to ensure they keep abreast of these changes in the threat landscape. This Briefing provides managers and key decision-makers in organisations with an overview of the threats posed to their organisation while also outlining ways to reduce these threats against critical organisational assets.
AudienceThis Briefing is intended for managers and key decision-makers within an organisation. It will build an awareness of the seriousness of the emerging threats posed by new technologies and changing trends in cyber criminal activity.

This Briefing will help you to understand the nature of these threats, develop countermeasures and implement the most effective precautions against the latest threats.
DurationHalf-day
ObjectivesOn completion of this Briefing, delegates will:

• Have enhanced their awareness of emerging security threats.
• Understand the impact these threats can have on their organisation.
• Know the consequences involved if appropriate measures are not put in place.
